Passiflora coccinea (Scarlet Passionflower) is a species of perennial herb in the family Passifloraceae. They are climbers. They are native to Acre (Brazil), RondôNia, Amazônia, Piauí, Pernambuco, Ceará, GoiáS, Pará, Caatinga, Roraima, Bahia, Mato Grosso, Maranhao, and Amapá. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 2.2 m.
