Gordonia lasianthus (Loblolly Bay) is a species of tree in the family Theaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Brown-belted Bumblebee, Delta Flower Scarab, Palamedes Swallowtail, and Agapostemon splendens. Individuals can grow to 65 feet.
