Achyranthes aspera (Chaff Flower) is a species of shrub in the family Amaranthaceae. They are native to Acre (Brazil), Cerrado, Caatinga, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso, Amazônia, Bahia, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Rio De Janeiro, and Espirito Santo. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Honey bee.
