Danaea nodosa (Caribbean Dana Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family Marattiaceae. They are native to Minas Gerais, Rio De Janeiro, SãO Paulo, Santa Catarina, Acre (Brazil), Mata Atlântica, Puerto Rico, Mato Grosso, Amazônia, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, and Bahia. They have pinnate leaves. Individuals can grow to 12 cm. They have alternation of generations.
