Papaver rhoeas (Corn Poppy) is a species of annual herb in the family Papaveraceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to South Africa. They have dry fruit. Flowers are visited by Halictus fulvipes, Ceutorhynchus assimilis, Buff-tailed bumblebee, and Early bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 0.6 m.
