Azolla pinnata (Feathered Mosquitofern) is a species of annual herb in the family floating ferns. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Madagascar, China, Vietnam, Australia, Papua New Guinea, India, The Philippines, Japan, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Malaysia. They have simple leaves. They have alternation of generations.
