Pteris biaurita (Thinleaf Brake) is a species of perennial herb in the family Pteridaceae. They are native to Alagoas, Amazônia, Santa Catarina, Espirito Santo, GoiáS, Bahia, Rio De Janeiro, Ceará, Minas Gerais, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pernambuco, Maranhao, Mata Atlântica, Puerto Rico, Pará, and SãO Paulo. They have pinnate leaves. They have alternation of generations.
