“Genus Lepidogyra, new genus


Type Lepidogyra alba, new species

The body is lepidonotoid, with frontal antennae inserted terminally. Parapodia are biramous, with notopodia well developed, provided with acicular setae which are coarser than neurosetae. Neuropodia are longer than notopodia, have setae distally bifid. with small teeth in the distal crotch ; they resemble those in Gorekia Bergstrom. Paired dorsolateral papillae are proximal to the bases of dorsal cirri.”
