Leptolejeunea elliptica is a species of woody liverworts in the family Lejeuneaceae. They are native to Espirito Santo, Paraná, Acre (Brazil), Minas Gerais, GoiáS, Alagoas, Mato Grosso, Rio De Janeiro, SãO Paulo, Santa Catarina, Caatinga, Ceará, Distrito Federal, Amazônia, Pernambuco, Pará, Sergipe, Roraima, Bahia, Cerrado, Amapá, and Mata Atlântica.
