MATERIAL EXAMINED.—Holotype, male: ECUADOR, PCIA. PASTAZA, 27 km N Puyo, Estación Fluviometrica, 4 Feb 1976, P.J. Spangler et al. NMNH Type.
Paratypes: Same data as holotype, 2.
ETYMOLOGY.—A name suggested by the locality Puyo.
