Helichrysum spenceranum Wild

Slender, often straggling perennial with branches up to 45 cm tall. Leaves sessile, linear-lanceolate, 0.5 - 1 cm long, grey velvety, particularly below; apex mucronate; margin rolled under. Capitula in a many-flowered, hemi-spherical terminal heads. Involucral bracts oblong, c. 3-seriate, pale brownish-yellow, up to 3 mm long.
