Mutisia coccinea is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They are climbers. They are native to Mata Atlântica, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, South America, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, and Santa Catarina. They have broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Scale-throated Hermit, White-throated Hummingbird, and Planalto Hermit.
