Potentilla sterilis (Barren Strawberry) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Phyllobius roboretanus, Meligethes obscurus, Myrmica ruginodis, and Andrena bicolor. Individuals can grow to 0.08 m.
