Mimosa xanthocentra is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They are native to Pará, Distrito Federal, Tocantins, Amazônia, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, GoiáS, Maranhao, Mexico, Paraná, SãO Paulo, RondôNia, Santa Catarina, Rio De Janeiro, Ceará, Mata Atlântica, and Mato Grosso Do Sul. They have achenes.
