Baptisia tinctoria (Horseflyweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and Eastern North America. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Coelioxys octodentata, Wavy-lined Zanclognatha, Melissodes communis communis, and Black and Gold Bumble bee. Individuals can grow to 2.5 feet.
