Pileus thin, reniform or suborbicular, nearly plane, wood-loving, 6-10 mm. broad; surface minutely pubescent, brown; lamellae ventricose, rather broad, rusty-brown when mature, whitish on the edges; spores subellipsoid, usually uninucleate, 9-10 X 5-6 fx; stipe equal, curved, lateral or eccentric, brown, with a patch of white mycelium at the base, 2-4 mm. long.
Type i^ocaivITy: Compton, California.
Habitat : On decaying wood.
Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
