Hypostomus chrysostiktos^[1][2] is a species of catfish in the family Loricariidae. It is native to South America, where it occurs in the Paraguaçu River basin in Brazil. It is typically seen in blackwater portions of rivers with rocky substrates at elevations of 50 to 662 m (164 to 2172 ft) above sea level. The species reaches 26 cm (10.2 inches) SL and is believed to be a facultative air-breather.^[3]

Hypostomus chrysostiktos is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de harnasmeervallen (Loricariidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2007 door Birindelli, Zanata & Lima.

金色下口鯰，為輻鰭魚綱鯰形目甲鯰科的其中一種，為熱帶淡水魚，分布於南美洲巴西Paraguaçu河流域，體長可達26公分，棲息在岩石底質底層水域，生活習性不明。
