Diagnostic Description

Hind tibiae without apical spurs; basicosta with strong setae as dense as those on the adjoining costa; vertex without a tubercle; scutellum and posterior margin of the mesoscutum without a black velvety spot; body not wholly black; subcallus bare and shiny; abdomen black or dark brown, with a single prominent pale middorsal stripe covering tergites 1-6; frons over 6 times as high as the basal width; wing somewhat smoky along the foreborder and apex.
