Melangyna lasiophthalma (Zetterstedt 1843)

Melangyna lasiophthalma is a species of flies in the family flower flies. They visit flowers of Lesser Celandine, St. Anthony's turnip, Twinflower, and creeping buttercup. They are diurnal. Individuals can grow to 10.9 mm.
