Pectis papposa (Manybristle Chinchweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Aetole cera, Centris rhodopus, Honey bee, and Vanessa cardui. Individuals can grow to 3 dm.
