Asterionellopsis glacialis is a species of Bacillariophyta in the family Fragilariaceae. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, ParaíBa, Espirito Santo, Alagoas, Sergipe, Rio Grande Do Norte, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Pará, Bahia, Paraná, SãO Paulo, and Pernambuco. Dead Asterionellopsis glacialis form siliceous oozes.
