Diploneis subovalis is a species of diatoms in the family Diploneidaceae. They are native to GoiáS, Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, SãO Paulo, Distrito Federal, and Paraná. Dead Diploneis subovalis form siliceous oozes.
