Type locality: œ3 km NE of El Aguacate, Independencia Province, 854 m, República Dominicana abditus (HOLOTYPE MCZ R-146827): southern low foothilîs of Sierra de Baoruco.
Type locality: œdirt road to Las Mercedes, 2.9 km from intersection (= 5 km SE, 2.9 km N of Pedernales), Pedernales Province, República Dominicana.

Anolis strahmi, the Baoruco stout anole or Strahm's anole, is a species of lizard in the family Dactyloidae. The species is found in the Dominican Republic.
