Trochocyathus (Trochocyathus) apertus Cairns & Zibrowius 1997

Trochocyathus apertus is a species of Cnidaria in the family Caryophylliidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Trochocyathus apertus form shallow marine sediments. They are solitary. They have transverse division, sexual reproduction, and asexual reproduction.
