Heterocyathus japonicus (Striped Bum Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Caryophylliidae. Dead Striped Bum Coral form shallow marine sediments. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
