Hàbitat
És un peix bentopelàgic i de clima tropical (18°C- 25°C).[9][5]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a Àsia: conques del rius Ganges, Mekong i Chao Phraya;[10] rius Salween i Maeklong, i la Tailàndia peninsular.[11][5][12][13][14][15][16][10][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][8][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31]
