Halomitra pileus (Bowl Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Fungiidae. Dead Bowl Coral form shallow marine sediments. Bowl Coral form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.
