Leptoria phrygia (Lesser Brain Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Lesser Brain Coral form shallow marine sediments. Lesser Brain Coral form marine reefs. Individuals can grow to 450 µm. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have no parental care. They are sessile animals.
