Orbicella annularis (Lobed Star Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed as endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Lobed Star Coral form shallow marine sediments. Lobed Star Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.
