Paragoniastrea russelli is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Paragoniastrea russelli form shallow marine sediments. Paragoniastrea russelli form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners.
