Porites australiensis (Hump Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Poritidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Hump Coral form shallow marine sediments. Hump Coral form marine reefs. Individuals can grow to 245 µm. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
