Coscinaraea columna (Dana 1846)

Coscinaraea columna is a species of cnidarians in the family Coscinaraeidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Coscinaraea columna form shallow marine sediments. Coscinaraea columna form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
