De zwarttipvaalhaai[3] (Hypogaleus hyugaensis) is een haai uit de familie van de gladde haaien.[4][5]
Natuurlijke Omgeving
De zwarttipvaalhaai komt voor in de Indische Oceaan,[5] Oost-Afrika,[5][6] de Perzische golf,[5] Australië[7] en het westen van de Grote Oceaan, Taiwan[5] en Japan[5]. Hij leeft hier op het continentale plat.
