Platycoenia jacksonensis is a species of cnidarians in the family Astrocoeniidae. This species is extinct. Dead Platycoenia jacksonensis form shallow marine sediments. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
